yes use @bios,then once flashed you can update future bios's through qflash, just point @bios to the saved bios file(once extracted) on your pc

You need to use @bios to flash since the bios file size changed from 1024 to 2048 kb. This is still the case with a unmodded bios. I recommend downloading the latest version of @bios and the unmodded update bios.

Once you have those things and @bios is installed. It is recommend you boot into the bios load optimized defaults Press F10 to save and reboot.

If your system can boot to windows with no other changes then let it other wise reenter the bios and only change what is needed to boot to windows.

Once in windows open @bios. Make sure the check the option to clear dmi pool data. And then update to the new modded bios.

Reboot enter bios and load optimized defaults again. Save reboot.

Same thing here let it boot to windows or make chanes and then let it boot. You may see it update the back up bios to match the main bios. If not let the system boot to windows. Then choose shut down but up holding the alt key then when the system starts press the F12 key and it will prompt you to copy main bios to back up bios.

Note You only have to use @bios this one time. Only because q-flash does not like files size change. Now any newer bios that come out you can flash the old way with q-flash.

it should be fine, you can always reflah bios and untick keep dmi pool data but its not needed unless you run into issues, has it improved read/write figures from old bios?

I did run the test on Marvell and Intel ports.
Marvell read not bad ,but write half, and Intel the same results like before no improvement.
I did the test with recommended atto software.
    Please take a look.
I think at the end I will use marvel port even many people claiming Marvel is worst then Intel but not in my case.
Why between read and wright so big difference, and if I look at some other people tests read and write is going almost even.
What is your opinion, how I should run the tests and what are my options.
    Thanks
I did get replay from biostar and This card is using ASMedia chipset. ? any suggestion...................

the marvell will be better/faster but in general they can crash or throw up errors more than the intel ports hence using intel would be more reliable, and it only applies to old marvell ports/controllers as there are two types, the newer ones are more reliable,i dont know which ones are on your board though and are there any firmware updates for your ssd??

if i were you id stick to the marvell ports and see how it goes
