    Default Gigabyte support... really?

    My question to them:
How can I update the backup BIOS to a more recent version? Right now it is the original f2 an
d it would be nice to upgrade that with settings that support my RAID0 boot drive.
    And the answer I received:
    Dear Customer,

There are no other bios available beyond F2, as for Raid 0 what type of issue you are encountering with it?

So I get that maybe Gigabyte can't support the Beta BIOS's that we all use but how does that stop them from answering the question?

Likely they did not understand the question.
It's the same with all boards, Alt+F12 or Alt+F11 orbefore POST.

Hmm, "How can I update the backup BIOS to a more recent version?" is pretty basic. I can see a translation problem since I have no idea where, or what language, support is actually at.

Your answer is semi cryptic though. What is alt+f12 or 11 supposed to do? If it's the same with all boards, why didn't support know it? There are no alt+anything keystrokes explained in the manual, at least not that I've found.

Alt+F12 copy main BIOS to bacjup BIOS and Alt+F11 backup to main.

Support did not know, or did not understand the question, or did not want to answer.

Obviousely you have asked a question that is not in the manual otherwise why would you ask. Why did you ask realy?

You might have better luck with support if you check out U.K. Official GIGABYTE Forum - Index.
Hopefully they have a better command of the English language ;)
