Post GA-Z68XP-UD4 doesn't get to POST with Corsair Vengeance RAM

    Hi,

I have this motherborad and a pair of RAM sticks Cosair Vengeance 4GB 1600Mhz 9-9-9-24 , the problem looks like simple, but I dont know why is happening:
If I use 1 of the RAM sticks the machine will boot up normally, if I use another or both RAM sticks in any slots combinations, the system won't get to POST, it will just enter in a boot loop with back screen.

Please add a detailed hardware list to your forum signature so that we can better help you.

Your problem is probably due to incorrect bios settings.
Have you run Memtest86+ on each of your memory modules individually to ensure that each module is OK?
You should also test with only one module in slot #3 to verify that both memory slots are good.

There are several forum members that can suggest bios settings that should solve your problem.

Have you tried clearing cmos? The system will boot with either sticks of ram but not both together? Do you know how much qpi/vtt voltage is set? Boot the system with one stick of ram and then increase qpi/vtt then add the second stick. keep qpi/vtt under 1.20v.

All BIOS Settings are from default settings by "Load Optimized Defaults", nothing is overclocked and the RAM module currently in use is @1333Mhz 9-9-9-24.
How could I run Memtest86+ on both modules if only one is booting up with the system, yes I did tried each module individually in different slots, still only one working.

I have already removed the battery for more than 1 hour long and put a jumper in CLR_CMOS.
The system doesn't boot with both sticks of RAM together, but not with either sticks too, only one module is working.

The first thing I have done after building the system with the 2 modules to boot up (the only time both modules worked together apparently), I ran Q-Flash, updated to the latest stable BIOS from Gigabyte site, after this the system have never been booting up again with both sticks only one of then, in specific still being detected/functioning and POSTing.

I don't know what BIOS version was in before, so even If I could downgrade the BIOS, I don't know to what version do that.
All the times that I have put the jumper in CLR_CMOS, the first time the machine power on after ~2 sec it power off then the second time it power on the BIOS screen appears.

Do both sticks work? I mean tested them one by one and they boot up? Try manually setting dram voltage to whats printed on the ram, either 1.5v or 1.66v,then try with qpi/vtt set to 1.10v

No, just one of then, already tried individually boot up, where do I modify qpi/vt voltage?
RAM Voltage is auto @1.5v, should I modify then?

qpi/vtt may be labled as vccio or something along those lines. Set ram voltage manually .. If it say 1.5 then use 1.5 if it say 1.65 then use 1.66v

if only one stick boots up and the other doesnt then it might be dead/faulty preventing the pc from booting up? it should boot up into bios/windows with any of those two sticks in either of the correct 2 slots, usually colour coded

All slots colors are black... So I guess updating the BIOS killed one of the RAM modules...The first time I started the system and before run Q-Flash, both sticks have worked normally apparently.

So, should I set manually the RAM voltage, add another RAM stick and see if the system will POST/Show BIOS Screen?
