Default GA-H55-USB3 hangs on Bios Splash

My GA-H55-USB3 rev 2.0 hangs on the bios splash screen, clearing the CMOS, leaving the battery out over night, trying only one stick of ram in any of the slots, nothing seems to helps. It always hangs there, though the case speaker does beep once indicating a successful post. This happened after trying to revert back to stock speeds in Easy Tune. I have no idea how to recover from this, and thought maybe a blind flash would work. Any help is appreciated

Try disconnecting all drives and add-on cards except video, and keyboard.
Press the Tab key as soon as the keyboard lights flash, see if you can get more detailes where it hangs.

Thanks for the info, even after removing everything, the key board lights still never flashed (PS2 and USB keyboards were used). Essentially, the behavior has not changed. I tried to short pins 5 &6 on the main bios chip, and did get it to reload from the backup chip, but nothing changed. this leads me to believe that the backup was fried as well. Not sure how to proceed, if there is anyway to recover from this? Thanks

Have you tried booting with only one memory module installed?
Also try pressing the delete key about once per second as soon as you hear the beep and before the splash screen appears.
Make sure that all hardware that isn't needed for booting into the bios is removed.
You might need to test with a different power supply and/or video card.
In a recent thread, a motherboard would light up but nothing else happened. The problem was due to a failed power supply.

Thanks for the additional advice, I did try just the one module before, have take out all the HDD, and DVD writer, leaving only one module, a graphics card and CPU installed. I also tried the memory in all 4 slots. It may be my power supply (I Hope note, OCZ Modular 700 watt, less than one year old) because i had a new MB, different brand, overnighted to install, and this one wont even do anything other than the fans move about one reveloution before....nothing. The only other thing i wil mention is that when i short out pins 5 and 6 on the GA-H55-USB3, it does give me a check sum error and reload the bios. Though that doesnt help, it does point to good power, i think.
    I will keep trying things.

Try testing with a borrowed power supply.
You might need to test with a different cpu, memory, or graphics card.
Right now, you can't assume that any hardware components are good.
