Be careful what your buying on ebay though, its a good dumping ground for high vid chips,I bought my second 920 off there and it likes alot more voltage then my first chip, bought that from thestates,new/sealed when first released for 189 and its great on voltage

LSD isn't your 6core under warranty still? Rma it?

No Wazza, it's ES so no RMA possible :(

OEM warranty from Intel is for one year I believe, and must go through the point of sale.

    *edit*

OEM warranty does go through the point of sale only, but the time-frame for that is also set by them

I heard rumors that OEM Nehalems and up are completely locked, uncore/CPU/RAM everything as in one from a Dell machine or something thats been taken out and put into a aftermarket system with and aftermarket clocking board. Don't know how true that may be..

I don't think that's true, well at least not always, because I have bought 920 and W3520 from people that pulled them out of OEM systems such as Dell and MAC's.

It might be sometime I suppose, but I've never seen or heard of that.

Any changes with this(new CPU or the current)? Again I have been trying and retrying the 20x200 way for 4 GHz, im starting to wish I had a multimeter, for CPU PLL cause something just isn't right with it as its the ONLY setting it responds to and lowering beyond LOW, the bios needs to go lower than 1.3 which the best current setting. I wonder if the CPU is even getting near that when its set with specifically the x20 multi in use, could be bugging and going way lower or higher than set for all I know.. I just want an answer for it I don't care what it is (the usual "well dont use it use 19 or 21" isn't an answer, and im doing that already which is 200 runs of Linpack stable).

You can get cheap multimeters for under $10 that work perfectly fine, let me know if you need a few links to check some out.

200 straight runs of Linpack is degrading your CPU, so keep that in mind as that might also be what you are experiencing.
