    have finally installed IX which took about an hour or so with cleaning and preparation... not something for the stupid or those living in a dungeon... or under a bridge for that fact :D..

    After testing with OCCT on a 7minute run (small data set) and Prime95 (InPlace Large FFTs)

    Spec Clock (2.66):
    @ IDLE: 29
    Core #0: 35
    Core #1: 28
    Core #2: 35
    Core #3: 28
    @ LOAD: 41
    Core #0: 53
    Core #1: 48
    Core #2: 53
    Core #3: 48

    4.2Ghz 200x21:
    @IDLE: 35
    Core #0: 44
    Core #1: 39
    Core #2: 43
    Core #3: 39
    @LOAD (1.33vcore): 61
    Core #0: 76
    Core #1: 74
    Core #2: 72
    Core #3: 71

    Conclusion:
    IX probably the best TI material going.

    So going back to look at old temps it looks like temps dropped about 10c?

    I tried the stuff once. Mine wouldnt flow right. I think maybe I was alittle scared to run the thing with my wc pump turned off.

    Temps look alot better.

    i'm thinking that with these temps.. i'm safe to run 24/7 @ 4.2... right??

    i've played a little with my air flow as well, i've removed my windowed side-panel and put back on my grated panel which has an additional 200mm fan on it.. which is pushing air outside.. so i've got 1 x 200mm and 1 x 140 pulling air (~140CFM Total) and 2 x 200mm and 1 x 120mm pushing out (~235CFM Total); so a nice negative pressure system.. will still replace cpu coolers with something else and re-use the apaches to replace the CM 120 or mount on the side panel to replace the 1 x 200.

    124 is not enough qpi/vtt I would try atleast 1.315v

    If the system was 100% stable with HT off and now not stable with HT on it should just need more vcore.

    Yes normally 0x124, 0x050 usally mean more or less qpi/vtt but in some casess if vcore is really low it could show bsod erros for qpi/vtt.

    My bet is it needs more vcore. Try 2 notches more vcore if not then try qpi/vtt.

    Just make sure to keep a eye on the temps if you gonna try and run 4.2 with HT on air.

    ahh you said qpi/pll so it threw me a little,yes try more vcore first,it just depends on your chip,some are good in needing low voltage and some average/some poor
