try plugging your hdd into another pc,disconnect other pc's hdd though, install win7 once fully installed unplug hdd and put into ep45 pc and win7 will just re install the needed drivers motherboard drivers for you,i know it works as ive switched from x58 to z68 motherboards without re installing

i know its a bit of a cop out to solving the real cause but its worth try? you can always enable ahci later ill show you how if you get win7 working

oh and dont register it untill its back in your ep45 computer, just click register later when prompted

Ok for the most part that worked All 4 sticks of ram recognized, SSD is plugged into Gsata. And it boots fine. Only problem is whenever im trying to do something such as install a program, Google chrome will crash then I blue screen and it restarts immediately after the blue screen. Is that GSata's fault? Or maybe my Ram? I dont think its the ram because all 8 are reading. If I do run another memtest86 and get an error, how do i know which slot the error is pointing too?
Thanks again for all your help

Soundslike dram voltage or CPU northbridge voltage not enough, chike can advise better on that as I have no idea on how much, maybe two/three clicks more northbridge voltage

I'll tell you how to enable ahci 2morro as its late here,or someone else can post the guide, ssd should be on first sata2 port dvd on SATA 4 or 5 storage on SATA 1/2/3

The machine I installed it on was configured to AHCI so this is aswell. So dont worry about that part.

UPDATE: Turns out some of the memory was bad and got 4 gigs working. But it BSOD'd again for another reason which leads me to belive its something with the board. Gonna order a new board and cpu and just make my life easier.

Maybe try to reflash BIOS or copy the backup BIOS to main BIOS, which do you have for backup(F9 in main BIOS scree)?

What is the BSOD code you are getting? It looks like 0x00000124 for example, and will be shown in the middle of the BSOD page and you want the last set of numbers. You can also find it in event viewer, windows logs, filter current log and enter 1001 in the box right above task category (As shown below)

To boot from USB you need to leave the USB Stick plugged in, reboot and hit F12 during startup until you get to the boot menu screen.

Then choose HDD+ and on the next screen choose your USB Stick by name or generic storage (You'll recognize it).

No changes need to be made or set in the BIOS, like setting first boot or any boot to USB, ect. Just use F12 to boot from USB.

And, since you mention burning windows disks, please be sure you burn the OS install disks at the Slowest burn speed possible, otherwise they can corrupt during installs.

    Hope that helps!
