    Ahh! Hmm, I bet that might be it though, I know sometimes the smallest movement on the mouse will wake them up.

    You could connect the mouse via PS/2 adapter, and have only KB on USB, then mouse would be able to wake it up fine if set to wake on double click.

    But check the CPU PLL Overvoltage setting before you think about any of the above (Doesn't sound ideal up there though, but it's all I could think of ATM). That setting might be the cause, but if you never changed it then it should already be set to disabled.

    I have just disbled CPU PLL overvoltage saved and rebooted and it turned off once like it should but then it booted nicely ... no boot loop

    May be early to mark as "solved" but its running nicely from cold start .... will wait for a new bios before I tweet anymore

    Great to hear, hopefully it will stay working smoothly for you!

    As for the waking up issue, check out this thread for some tips too because this user just had issues with his setup waking up by itself.
