    Default X58A-UD7 - NB Waterblock

    Hi All,

Has anyone actually ever made use of the water block supplied with the EX58-UD5 or X58A-UD7?

I'm currently looking at going liquid and was curious if its any good or if it should be replaced.

    TIA,
    K

I believe I've seen it tested and it works a little bit, you'll be better off with a full coverage block like EK's block I've used that on my UD7 and it was great!

Be sure if you do buy an EK block, that you get the correct one for your board - Rev 1.0 board or 2.0 board.

actually.. could save myself a little with MIPS.. as they do a block on its own just for the NB+SB but the mosfets block isn't included...

so its either: EK-FB KIT GA X58 (UD7) - Nickel - Gigabyte - Intel X58 chipset - Full Board Blocks - Motherboard Blocks - Blocks

or GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD7 Rev.1 Kühler Set POM from spielzeugkiste.de

    the cheap options being:
purchasing GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD7 Rev.1 Dual Mosfet Kühler POM and GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD7 Triple-Chip Kühler POM seperately :)

Ya the EK is good just because the mosfet block is included, you need that because once you remove the UD7 block the NB/SB and mosfets will be bare.

I almost bought Tilatech's last 3 UD7 1.0 blocks to resell because they were so cheap, but I missed them before they closed up shop

Bump for you and PM coming in case you don't see this.

I found you VERY cheap brand new EK FB Full board UD7 rev 1.0 block $60! I think it might be US sale only, but if you are not in the US maybe you could talk him into global shipping?

I thought you might still be looking! If I had the spare cash I would have grabbed it myself!

Let me know if he hooks you up, if so I'll go give him some +rep over there!
