that system should be good enough, and you should be able to easily oc,maybe you need to clear cmos by removing mb battery for 30mins then loading optimised defaults in the bios and re enter all your oc/bios settings, are you using f12 bios? i found f12 to be the most stable bios

Ya that's it! Are all the event ID 1001's 0x0000003b?

Do you use 1394 firewire, or have it enabled in the BIOS? This BSOD code is often driver related, and many times due to firewire but can be anything else too such as GFX, audio, ect drivers.

So be sure your drivers are all up to date, and that you are on the latest BIOS too because it can also be the cause.

Microsoft has also released a fix for this, since they found some of their files to also be the cause

Yes that is the latest BIOS,I'm using an older f12 BIOS,but stick with f8b for now,you might run at 4.6ghz but if your on air there's no way you will be able to stress test that clock due to temps,I think around 4 to 4.2ghz is gonna be the best and try to get ram stable at 1600mhz

well did all that and removed printer drivers as they kept appearing in event log but wont boot

yeah i would ideally like to run at 4ghz all the time with my memory at 1600 but havent really made much headway on that

i have disabled firewire in bios and esata

my graphics and sound are fully up to date

as soon as i put mem multiplyer on 10 it all goes wrong, even with the memory profile i know works as it works at stock cpu speed

Your using 10x mem multi? And your setting uncore freq to 21x right? Not 16x because it wont boot

BSOD 0x3B (0x000003b) is not enought vcore. I have gotten this code many times. vcore always helps.

Edit here are my settings for 4.6ghz 24/7 since my cpu is only a 920 I can only use 21x multi. Vcore is set to normal, LLC set to level 1 and dvid is set to 0.200v for a total of 1.45v 1.425 load. I wish ET6 would show you dvid value and llc value. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Are you on the latest BIOS or not, you guys confuse me

If not, try the latest BIOS and see if that helps. Please update via Qflash or DOS, not @BIOS. And be sure to clear DMI during the flash, and load optimized after the flash then save/apply/reboot back to BIOS to make all your changes (Don't forget SATA)
