    Ok purchased a e6750, should have it for the weekend, will be back, thanks for all the help.


    Update, i have just read some very bad things about the board i was getting, i was on xtreemsystemforums and there are numberous cold boot issue, reboot loop issues, memory issues, im no longer going to get this board. Thanks for all your help, im on the hunt for another board.

    I noticed in the updated bios area on this site there is a f15c bios for the Gigabyte 965 ds3, its not on gigabytes site, do u know what this bios did or fixed ?. Gigabytes sites last bios is f14.

    I suggest using it, we get those BIOS directly from HQ and since that is a very old board their many not ever be a final update past what you mentioned (F14)

    Thanks Stasio, it dont look like anything to do with reboot loop, or other issues i have read about, but those may have been fixed in other bios.

    Yes, likely fixed in a BIOS way before that one! They normally don't put very much into the change logs, if anything.

    I used to use one of these boards and the same CPU you just bought, and never had any issues! I ran at 3.6-3.7Ghz if I remember right, easy as pie if your cooling is good, and if you need help we can help for sure on settings!
