Ok after testing this is what I found.

    Bios F3 + F4b
    4G button works

    bios sets
    vcore 1.3500v LLC2
    qpi/vtt 1.375
    cpu pll 1.86
    qpi pll 1.200
    vdimm 1.66

    Bios F5b
    4G button works

    Bios sets
    vcore 1.4000v LLC2
    qpi/vtt 1.375
    cpu pll 1.86
    qpi pll 1.200
    vdimm 1.66

F5c did not work. It failed like F5d does, the only difference was when at the post screen that first says that OC failed in black and white. The system locked up and would not enter the bios. I shut the system down and turned off 4G and started still hard lock. Shut down again and did a cmos clr and was able to enter bios.

I made a video of botting with 4G button enabled and full bios settings on F4b (which i am currently booted as) if needed. All hardware info can be found in my sig.

Thanks for your further testing on this!! That is with i7-920 correct? Just checking Never mind, I see your signature/HW comment :)

Yes, please upload that video just in case they want to see it, then edit it into your post above. I'll send in a reply with that info now and a link to your post so they can see all your comments and the video once it's added.

Thanks again for your quick testing Ace, they said that info will definitely help!!

Also, they said they were able to duplicate the F5d and i7-960 issue, and will keep us posted on the fix progress!

Sorry for the delay on posting the video.

So far these settings work for browsing the internet and light game play, I did not stress test.

I am so horrible at taking videos lol. I guess I just need to practice more at it. In the video on my phone the CPUZ screen shot looked more readable If its not good enough I can re-shoot the video.

No problem man, I let them know it may take a bit for the video to get uploaded. I'm sure they'll find it if they need it, but your provided info was probably all the needed to know before they started testing

Thanks again, you may have helped all X58A-OC 920 users, well the ones that want to use the 4G button anyway

I've received a new Beta BIOS from Gigabyte tonight and sent it to Wasp for testing!

I'll post the BIOS here once he tests and gets back to me on if it's working or not for his 960 (For anyone else following this thread).

If you want to test it Ace, shoot me a PM and I'll send it your way, they said 920 still may or may not be working as it's not officially supported, but if you did test and it works they wanted to know.

    Haha, ya, what happened there?

Was it recorded upside down, or did the phone just do that? You should check out Camtasia Studio for video editing before publishing, I use it and it's great!
