is that with settings i just gave you? its normal for voltages to drop slightly when under load/stress

Likely QPI/VTT 1.175 is too low for 12GB at 1600, try 1.3v and lower it later if stable, increase if still not stable. 1.35v is your limit for QPI/VTT for now (could be more but I'm not sure).
Also set RAM voltage 1.52v there is a minor drop there.
Run an hour or tw0 small FFT first, then an hour or two large FFT and final testing blend for 8+ hours.
You may want to run IBT(Intel Burn Test) with 6MB if HT is on or 3MB if it's off.
Monitor core temperatures with Core Temp or RealTemp, both programs create lots of heat, IBT much higher than Prime95.

set dram voltage to 1.5v in bios
set qpi/vtt to 1.25v with 24gb of ram
use 2x uncore freq for now

see if that works for 3.8ghz
Tried these settings and got blue screens right before login
even lowered the BCLK back to 160 and go the blue screen before login
ALL I did was lower BCLK back to 160 and then ALSO uncore to 17x for it to login
    voltages still set.
so my ram is now stock again 1600mhz and cpu 23x160=3.68GHZ

Were my Core settings (turbo mode no auto, etc.) and my ram settings (turbo mode etc.) correct? C1E halt was still on AUTO I believe

STILL ERROR on basic startup test for CORE#4

should I increase CPU PLL too?

shouldnt need to touch cpu pll for 3.8ghz,im not 100% sure on the uncore with those chips, its different to 920/930 quads, lsdme will know, those chips can use less than normal 2x mem multi

you could simply need more cpu voltage that was at 1.3v,could raise dvid up to +0.16250v to give you 1.36v total cpu voltage, might need more depends on chip, keep qpi/vtt at 1.25v or might need more,

intel turbo boost is fine off and adjust bclk if needed, and should be able to run system performance enhance on turbo aswell

Well I set cpu and vtt to 1.3, in cpu-z the VCORE shows 1.264 but drops down to 1.232 under half load!

lowered to 150MHZ BCLK and still getting Prime95 error on WORKER#4

I increased RAM voltage to 1.54 the next step above 1.5
    ram is now 150x10=150
    Uncore I think still 17x
    set QPI ratio to 36x
Turned off Turbo mode for CPU
Turned off Turbo ran to (set to standard)
kept auto timing for ram and its at 9-9-9-23

    try with llc enabled

it could be the amount of ram 24gb making it hard to oc idk

just need to test, raise cpu voltage a few clicks and retest ect, dont go above 1.4v for cpu,you wont need that much for 3.8ghz and no more than 1.35v imo for qpi/vtt on that chip

    What is LLC?

Getting frustrated. Tried just 136 BCLK and 25x multiplier and i guess you cannot do 25x because it lowered me to 24x only 3.26ghz....

qpi 4.8 uncore was 2400 i think....18x 136=2448 so thats about half of QPI heard that somewhere else

so ram is 816 dual rate thats 1632mhz 9-9-9-25

IE9 still and has been throwing errors since i started tested 160 or 165 bclk testing

Haven't reset CMOS in a while so maybe i should do that before trying more

Prime95 immediately throws the WORKER#4 error again

    ----------------------------------------------------

Reset EVERYTHING to stock except tried RAM from TURBO to EXTREME and it blue screened after login
So set back to Turbo so everything stock and now logged in

Prime95 STILL throwing error at stock speed

Maybe I have a bad RAM module I will run memtest from CD-ROM

    then I'll reset CMOS

sorry llc loadline calibration,it will reduce cpu vdroop under load, try with 1.35v qpi/vtt

Have you ran Prime95 with stock settings and XMP profile?
Reset CMOS, load optimized defaults, Performance Enhance standard, apply XMP, and 1.35v QPI/VTT and see if it's stable.
