Default GA-EX58-UD5 C1 boot loop BIOS fault?

I have been searching a lot (about bootloops), but nothing quite matches my issue.

Bottom line: I boot to bios, and set the bclk 133->134. Save and exit. The computer wont power cycle, as no multipliers or whatnot were altered. It will not boot either, LCD shows C1, and briefly cycles through others and does nothing. If I push reset, usually once, it will let me boot to BIOS. However the red box appears saying overclocking has caused the system failing to boot. And the blck is still 133MHz.
Everything else is at "Optimized defaults".

This started when happily overclocking RAM. DDR3-1750 was fine, but DDR3-1800 froze in memtest. Rebooted, and got the C1 loop for the first time. Flashed F13 from gigabytes site, but that did not help. Cant think of anything. Cleared CMOS a couple times now. F13 has totally different layout though. Hopefully the QPI slow mode bug is fixed. Too bad i cant try it out now :(

c1 is memory error, test each stick of ram one by one in each white slot one at a time so you know each memory stick is working and that each white slot is working, then remove mb battery for 30mins-1 hour and try

i find f12 bios to be the most stable

Yes, QPI Slow mode works now on latest BIOSes, not sure about which ones are working on that for UD5 though.

Clear your CMOS if you continue to have issues and can't get it going

    Hi!

Yes I forgot to add i had already tried some dimms on different slots with no avail. Now i tried them all, none of the dimms in any of the slots let me save the bclk to the bios for example. However when i set Vdimm to Auto, and the multi to x12, im now running them DDR-1600 per spec no probs. Auto vdimm is 1.64V, spec is 1.65 so thats ok as well. During testing they did ddr3-1750 with 1.5V, but the 1800 @ 1.5V started this madness.

Different slots/dimms made me think of BIOS fault?
Or CMOS? does the battery removal somehow erase the cmos differently than pressing the button? Going to try that now.
