    Both of my Gigabyte N650SLI-DS4 motherboards had an FSB wall from 375 - 425MHz.
    The first board overclocked my E6550 using 7 x 489MHz (with near maximum voltages) and was stable until the bios ate itself.
    The second brand new board was a lousy over-clocker from day 1 and currently is stable up to 370MHz only.

    Your EP45 will be a big improvement.

    hi;

    i have tried the setting you have provided and i got bsod in the welcome screen loading process.

    i was thinking maybe i should overclock step by step and one component at a time.

    so maybe i should try 3ghz 333*9 1:1 with auto voltage?

    thank you for your help.

    ok now i have set it to 400x7 2.8ghz 2.00D with all voltages on "Normal" with XMP disabled and other stuff on auto\standard.

    ran IBT stable.

    what should i try next?

    Set DRAM Voltage 2.2v and standard timings 4-4-4-12, Static tread Value 7, MCH Core 1.16-1.24v LLC(Load Line Calibration enabled).
    Please attech a CPU-Z text report to your next post. CPU-Z -> About tab -> Save Report (.TXT), then in the forum "Go Advanced" and attache the file with attachments management.
