    dual channel is fine on those mb's (samsung green memory is the best value/performance atm) should do 2400mhz+

    i was thinking about this bios switch malarkey,theoretically you could have a different bios version and oc/setting on each chip and switch between the two if and when needed??

    any ddr3 memory(1.5v) is ok,if you have four sticks itll run in quad channel just fine,its dual channel but only 1.35v rated

    Yes this is how it woks on the X58A-OC. I have bios F3 (stock shipped bios) on the backup bios and F5c on the main bios atm. I dont know what Gigabyte messed up on the p67/z68 boards where they do not like having miss match bios's.

    they ought to stick to that formula its handy to have,esp with a physical switch

    @conners i didnt understand what you meant? is z77 quad channel? i think its dual channel,is samsung memory dual? yes

    Got this mb yesterday using a Intel Pentium g830 proc. pending the released of the I7 3770k.


    One question so far the pch temperature is indicating 57 d.c. is this normal or to high?
