Yes please use the Intel sata3 ports as these are tide directly with the cpu and are more reliable then the marvell. I would stick with a single SSD now unless you really need that speed of SSD's in raid.

Coldsin, I'm using a single Crucial M4 128gb with W7 64 bits, for my use it is fast enough.

obviouisly a raid set up will be Faster but the question is "do you need it" also you could
encounter a raid failure and not being able to retrieve your data.

    great tips, thanks guys.
Now everything running smooth with my new toy, I did some tweaking OCing but never done it before, I try with the easy tune software which come with motherboard, I choose the quick boost 1 with easy tune but game crashes. Should i do it like the PRO OC in bios?

Been running this board for about a week or so. I do like it.

But, been having some problems with randomd BSOD's. I think I have determined it being caused by USB 3.0. I had the extra 2 ports plugged on the F_USB30_1, since the cord on it is quite short. I would try the other F_USB30_2/3 ports but the cord is not long enough...

I had one error related to the "On/off charge" which i deleted, then I was getting a "surge in USB" popup in windows 7 at one point and also random BSOD's. I have since unplugged the extra front panel USB 3.0 extension, and it seems to run stable. But I plugged back into the header and it BSOD'd after 10 minutes of use. (I was getting BSOD's before having the front panel plugged in, but I had the "On/off Charge" installed, so I am wondering if that is what caused the problem.

The BSOD's always pointed to memory corruption caused by a program, but I have run Memtest86 with no errors. Windows Memory test, no errors. Prime95 for hours, no errors. And I've removed any programs that the errors pointed to. They Blue Screens are always IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL with STOP 0XA.

I have all current USB 3.0 drivers and I am on F7 bios. But I am still not 100% sure if that is the problem.

System stats are in the pulldown. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

I also tend to agree that the usb ports might be causing Freezes in W7 etc.

I just installed the latest Beta bios f8c, when my logitech momo stearing wheel is
connected to the usb port, I not even able to enter the bios.

with F7 im able to use the momo and enter the bios screens, but with older bioses
I had the same problem when the momo was connected.

other people have also reported usb mouse/keyboard related issues.

so eventhough I'm not 100 percent sure, certain combinations of usb
components connected in connection to the installed bios version sometimes
    seem to give problems.

I trust Gigabyte are urgently working on all reported issues and a new forthcoming
Bios will solve a lot of he current problems.
