Your welcome, you know me I'm always happy to help anytime!

Great to hear all went smoothly! Now, just have to wait and try a few cold boots over the next morning or two and see how it goes.

Hopefully that will fix it up for ya! Be sure to test for stability a little, as your old settings you were using on F5d might need tweaked a little for F5e

    Nice, enjoy your new SSD's!!

Well I'm not sure what all changes were made, likely many that they had been working on, and then we reported the 4G issue so they hurried up and finished whatever they were working on.

You don't have to do extended testing really, just some quick LinX and HCI should do it, just so you know it's stable enough to not be instability causing the cold boot / multi issue.

That could have just been a bug of that BIOS and no one reported it is all, or no one that I personally seen (It may have been reported by someone else, and thus fixed in F5e) so you may be just fine with the new BIOS anyway!

So what exactly was the fix, just updating the main bios or updating the back up bios.

Also to to OP you can update the backup bios with out shutting down and flipping the bios switch. Just boot while pressing Alt+F12 key it should ask you are you sure you want to update the back up bios. Also Ctrl+f12 will copy the backup bios to the main bios.

Thanks for reminding him about that Ace, I was going to mention it but it just seemed like it would be easier for him to flip the switch so I said to do that. In case he has issues with USB keyboards, or timing the hot key sequence just right

So, how did the cold boot go today Gr1pp3r?
