I'll check that out here shortly for us Ace, I'm setting up P67-UD7 right now to test out that AHCI we'd been discussing, so I'll test that too while I have a test system setup and going.

Will let you know what I find shortly!

No, you cannot control the speed/voltage of Sys_fan2 in Speedfan. This is due to only being able to change the settings of the first/only 3 PWM devices (At least on P67-UD7) in the advanced settings as shown here (How to actually make speedfan work)
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...tml#post415951

You can monitor it's speed, but that's all. Unless there's some other silly thing you have to do to make speedfan work for that header, like you have to do to be able to control the others to begin with.

Sys_fan2 is Fan5 in the image/settings shown below, I just have it on 20 trying to see if adjustments are even possible.

What are you adjusting to control Sys_Fan2? PWM 1-3 can be controlled by changing the settings shown in the link above, but this is not possible for Sys_Fan2, so what do you adjust and I'll test?

I wasn't able to get Speedfan to control but the cpu fan and the power fan(s). PWM 1 & PWM 3 worked in tandem for the cpu fan, and PWM 2 is the Power fan header.
Not something I'm going to spend time fooling with at this point.

Fan 2 shows the speed of Sys fan 2 header, in these pictures I have a Gentle Typhoon AP-15 connected there.

Sys fan 2 header is connected to PWM2 output on my Z68 board so I set it to Software controlled mode, at 30 % voltage speed is about 500 rpm :

Control at 60 %, speed is up to 1100 rpm

And at 100 % speed is close to 1800 rpm (nominal speed of AP-15 is 1850 rpm)

Thanks mm67, Sys_Fan2 must just be connected to different controllers on different boards. On P67-UD7 (B2) @ B3 BIOS, none of the PWM switches control it, so you can't control Sys_Fan2 with speedfan

It's too bad you can't further adjust those 1-3 advanced PWM settings, to control other than default fans on that same controller, if you could that would be great! Even if you add a custom fan in the fan control section, you can't switch which fan is which on the PWM controller except for the default 3

All my Gigabyte boards have Sys fan 2 header on PWM2 output, cpu fan header is connected to PWM1 on some boards and some boards have it on PWM3.

PWM2 wasn't Sys_Fan2 on the board I was testing, not sure which was as I only had fans connected to CPU and Sys_Fan2, and none of the PWM's controlled Sys_fan2 on that board, probably because it has a lot of other actual PWM fan headers
