As of right now it seems to be going OK. One thing ive noticed about f7 compared to f5b is that the LLC seems to do pretty much nothing inless i enable one of the levels. On f5b, i pretty much had nothing for vdroop with llc enabled. I would idle at 1.30 volts and load under prime95 at 1.29v. The closest ive gotten so far with the f7 bios is 1.32v idle and 1.29v load. Ive tried probably 25 or 30 different combos and the this is the closest ive got using LLC @ level 3, vcore @ 1.300. Ill keep toying with it when i get more time to see if i can get the vdroop better. I havent prime95 tested it yet but assuming it does the same as the last bios, its stable at 1.29v. im about to fire up a game and ill report later. its very sensitive to unstable overclocking.

do you get much droop with llc disabled? played with dvid and not using llc? you might get a closer voltage from droop/non droop? idk you would need to test, trouble is you cant use llc and dvid at the same time on those boards its one or the other

Good suggestion. Ill try it with llc off, but i get the feeling im going to get some nasty vdroop. Ill report my findings in a few days.

Keep your eye out for Trolls saying random things or repeating stuff from others like that, they are spammers (Edit post next time, you'll see) I broke the image tags from his quote below, so you could see the spam, please edit my post and remove those links or his whole quote once you see it, thanks!

No LLC? Why are you suggesting that? Use Level 1, or if multi-level use 4-7

ahh i wasnt sure on his post as the images were blocked, now ill know what to look for,i just thought with llc off you could see better how much its drooping if any and see if offset would be better as it wont be running at full voltage all the time so you could afford to compensate for vdroop more by raising cpu voltage slightly? idk llc levels seem to apply too much or too little voltage you would need time to figure out each level and see how best to set it up

Ya, that's normally a sure sign of spam, but check the posts and URL's first before deleting or banning as it could just be broken link or image host down, ect sometimes, same applies with signature that look like that too.

Ahh, well ya, with it off it's going to drop and droop a good amount usually as that is per Intel's design, if you want less you have to use LLC or higher voltages which isn't ideal when you could use LLC instead and keep a lower voltage. I don't use offset, so you may need to do like you mention to figure things out, yet another reason added to my mental list of "Why are you using DVID"

4-7 is very similar to old Level 1, depending on the voltage range you are in you may need to try them all, but less or more that those isn't what people are generally after.
