Not sure I tried a google search and could not find much.

Google it can be your friend or it can be your enemy.

Maybe someone one else who has better google skills can come up with something.

Only same ROM from any other board with 9172 chip, extract from all boards you know have this chip and see which is the newest you can find.

It can be extracted and inserted the same way as the others.

Can someone modify the latest official BIOS for my GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 - http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList...ud3p-b3_f9.exe

    With:

    Intel® RAID ROM 11.1.0.1413
    Realtek LAN ROM 2.46

    Much appreciated.

Someone on another forum said this about this latest RAID ROM:

"There arent any Release Notes for 11.1.0.1413 yet.

I havent noticed any gains performance increases with it.

However I did notice that the new RAID ROM sets the default stripe size for SSD's to 32k"

Is that a good or a bad thing and how should I handle that, is that the best stripe size for SSD's?

I have tried to modify the EX58-UD5 latest released bios (F13) with the latest 11.1 Intel RAID ROM and the 2.46 Realtek ROM and failed. I suspect it is something I am doing wrong. Has anyone tried this combination and had problems?

Would anyone be kind enough to do the MOD for me?

    Thanks,

    Jason

GA-X58A-UD3R is there a utilility which can display what versions of different ROM's?

    I have rebooted and stated

    SATA AHCI Intel 1.20WE
    Gigabyte 1.07.06
    Marvell 1.0.0.1029 / 2.2.0.1113

    Also have a GA-870A-UD3

ok updated bios, jmicron has now replaced gigabyte sata naming, guess this is normal? For the IDE DVDRW now shows 1.0.28 (fro 1.07.06)
Did the Marvell force to reflash marvell chip.
