    Hi,

    Go there ...post number 6

    http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...a-x79-ud3.html

    That should do it

    ZzBloopzZ says:

Here are is the simplest method to update to latest version of MEI on your X79 variant Gigabyte motherboard:

    1. Update BIOS to the latest Beta BIOS, or the latest modified BIOS (I personally always use the latest modified BIOS by stasio)
    2. Download and install the latest MEI drivers (This is needed in order to properly communicate with MEI when updating firmware)
    3. Download Intel« Management Engine Interface(MEI) 8.1.40.1416 (Firmware) from HERE.
    4. Extract the firmware into a new folder, let's call this folder A.
    5. Open command prompt as Administrator.
    6. Navigate to folder A > Local-Win64 in command prompt.
    7. Run flash.bat
    8. Shut down the computer once fully flashed. Restart is not enough.
    8. Power on the machine and run command prompt as Administrator again and navigate to the meinfo64 folder and run info.bat. Assuming you have 64 bit OS. Otherwise run info.bat under meinfo for 32 bit OS. Make sure it says: "FW Version: 8.1.40.1416"
    9. Enjoy!

Edit: I have updated the tutorial to be more fool proof.

Go to the post 6 ...it contains links.
It is important to go in command mode (CMD) NOT Windows mode. Hit the "Start" button in Windows 7 ...go to "Run" ..type CMD ..then you will be in command mode.

Hope it helps and don't be sorry for your English ..its pretty good to me !

Don't know if this works, should be plenty of space for updates.
