    Hello folks,

just poking you at something. The X79-UD5 modded BIOS F13t (with microcode 0710) from Virtualfred isn't listed on the first page of this thread. All socket 2011 boards listed except for the X79-UD5

does anyone know how to enable the dynamic storage accelerator in the irst UI, it supposed to be there but never shows up, well, maybe once or twice but gone again after a reboot. What about the 12.8 irst driver, does it work? that supposed to be win 8 driver?
A WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING WORKS PROPERLY

AFAIK DSA requires ACPI support and your BIOS does not have that so no DSA.

    Exclamation GIGABYTE Modified Bios X58a UD7 v.1

    Hi guys!
So I've been delaying for some time asking your help.

I've to thank some of you , for helping me out with Bioses Modding.
Learned a lot and lately doing it myself.

I┤m turning to you again because I've been trying to update my CPU microcode (yap, another level) for some time and still keep failing in that area.

So I'm asking for someone to help me here and maybe doing it for me....no pressure!

Already have my bios with all latest Roms on it, now I can do it myself!
Only the Intel microcode is giving me some stress. (malfunction when selecting single or 2 cores and some BSODs).

I've run some tests and really have some instability with this CPU(i7 950).

Have too more systems, one with 920 and other with 960 no problems there.
The 960 as newer microcode, maybe because its from a later i7 release, who knows!!!

Thanks for all the work and time!

    Using:
    Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
    Intel i7 950 @3,6 Ghz
    Gigabyte X58A UD7 v.1
    12GB DDR3 Mushkin 6-8-6-24 @ 1600Mhz
    SSD Raid0 250Gb
    2xHD5850 1GB Toxic (CF)
