    Same for the z77x-ud3h ?
Well the last mod was quite stable (for a while )
I am still wondering though why the cpu is set to 34 and its either 16 (idle) or 38 (Turbo boost)
Why not 34 time to time

    Thanks a lot
    Merci beaucoup !

Hello Virtualfred! Here i am with some feedback...
This week-end i've tested these two BIOSes with extreme pleasures (UP4 TH - F11a) and with some frustrations (UP5 TH - F12j).
The F11a for the UP4 TH work perfectly, no issues, everything on the bright side of things even the OC has lowered the VCore for stability with same HW and settings...
I think some kind of magic has happened with this BIOS because i was using the F9 (latest official) modded by you with latest ROMs and goodies (SB micro-code Rev 28) and the OC was stable but now is again stable with less VCore (is it possible that the cleaning of CPU micro-code helped for stability?!?!?).
So, THANKS A LOT for this F11a, this is a great work!
    And now the frustrations...
With the F12j for the UP5 TH i've experiences same issues indicated by other users about side effects of the direct MEI firmware integration and infact i'll ask you if you can mod the F12j with the latest ROMs, cleaned CPU micro-code pack but keeping the native MEI firmware included by Gigabyte with the original F12j beta BIOS (V.8.1.30.1350).
I'll flash MEI Firmware V.8.1.51.1471 manually and check if my theory is right or not.
Obviously i'll give you feedback of this situation.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day Padawan.

    Cheers,

    KK

    Hi,

About cleaned µcode, not sure but i don't think it can improve anything, it's just easier to read but it contains the same µcode.

It's really strange cause i check it again : F11a unmodded, F11a mod3, F12j unmodded and F12j mod6 have exactly the same settings... but what is your issue exactly ?

Of course, if you want to try, here's your GA-Z77X-UP5TH BIOS F12j mod7 (same as mod 6 with ME FW 8.1.30.1350)
It is really useful to complete and keep your PC Specs or Signature up to date in Settings /My Profile (motherboard, CPU, BIOS version modified or not ...) - Thank you all .

Hi Virtu, my issue with the latest UP5 TH F12j Mod 6 was like this one quoted.
I flashed the BIOS, reset it by pulling off the CMOS battery for 30 minutes, i powered on and i've this exact screen and an infinite sequel of power-down and power-up that i manually interrupt.
Now with the F12j Mod 7 (like Mod 6 but with the native MEI FW included by Gigabyte V.8.1.30.1350) all is OK and i've manually flashed to the latest version Intel Management Engine Firmware V.8.1.51.1471.

    Now the situation is:

MAIN BIOS: F12J Mod 7 with latest ROMs, cleaned CPU micro-code pack + manually updated MEI FW to V.8.1.51.1471

BACKUP BIOS : F11 Mod 2 with latest ROMs, SB micro-code Rev. 28 + MEI FW manually updated to V.8.1.51.1471

Everything seems OK at stock and now i'll begin some OC testing with known parameters and check if i can reduce VCore and i'll report a feedback.

Thanks a lot for your help and your precious work.

    Good night Padawan.

Sorry for that, it looks like a wrong flash, i don't know if i done a mistake but I did nothing unusual. Did you load default setting before flash ? When did you reset CMOS ? Did you enter in BIOS after flash BIOS ?

Yes, it seems that i had a bad flash or the directly integrated MEI Firmware created some issues.
Every flash i do is at stock obtained by resetting the CMOS pulling off the battery, and repeating the CMOS reset at the same manner after the flashing procedure.
Every time i enter in BIOS and "load optimized defaults"...As you can see I am picky.

Thanks, as said before i like so much the feature of Dual BIOS because i can test Beta BIOSes and OC in the main BIOS, but i'll always keep the backup BIOS with all parameters @ stock with latest official because it always takes a lifesaver or a parachute ready for use.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Cheers,
