My system will not boot if I set the BIOS to RAID mode - Windows 7 blue screens on start up. AHCI mode boots fine. I can't get the latest RST driver to work when I run the "SetupRST" it complains my system is not compatiable. I'm using an older version from 2010 - see screen shot for details.

It's too early to tell whether the new BIOS has solved my issues, but I can report back in a week.
Please report back in a week. Meanwhile you can do a repair install of Win 7 to load the default RAID driver after you set the SATA mode in Bios to RAID. Once the repair install completes, your system should boot normally in RAID mode. You should then update to the latest RST driver.

Well, ive ordered a core i7 4820k, 6cores will just be waisted for gaming, hope the new bios f12y for g1assassin2 is sufficient, holding back on motherboard until new chipset comes out, then ill just swap stuff over.

I may be wrong but it seems to me that Fast Boot disable USB during boot, so keyboard or mouse are not active, you must push reset to restart on normal boot and enter in BIOS.

Yeah, fast boot disables everything, that's why Microsoft added the uefi firmware settings option in the OS to take you to bios. Although you do get a choice on what you can disable and enable, I think USB, PS2, something else aswell can be set with fastboot or ultrafastboot.
