    Just wondering if X79S-UP5 WI-FI BIOS modded here belongs to the rev1.0 or rev1.1...for some reason, last F5c Mod doesn't let me neither boot nor install any Linux distribution. Since those two mobo's aren't all that different but ever since I flashed that BIOS, I cannot install anything but the Windoze....Any clues?

    The F17 mod is actually the most stable Bios, i think.

    @Mseirco

    i can't start the driver, i get a error code 10 in device manager.

    When i try the F18 bios, i 've already the latest MEI driver installed 9.5.15.1730, uppon restart the driver (in the device manager won't start), so i uninstalled it completly, re-install and still not work ( even if i disable the integrity check "bcdedit /set nointegritychecks ON", revert-back to F17 mod, all run fine.

    But maybe this is caused by my personal hardwareconfig(optimized Bios default loaded), i don't know.

    Rules.
