Intel ME Firmware Version 9.1.10.1005 (1.5Mo)

The linked site doesn't provide much info on what specific chipsets this firmware is designed for, but seems to be the latest available for Z87 boards?
Applied to a Z87-UD5H board with latest modded F10c bios:

Maybe so, but this shows different information:

    GIGABYTE Modified Bios-mei-firmwares-jpg
    from:
    Firmwares

Can you explain why that page clearly shows "MEI firmware series 8" is for "chipset Series Z77, H77, ...", for example?
And: "MEI firmware series 9.0 & 9.1" & "MEI firmware series 9.5" is shown for "chipset series Z87, H87, ..."
My interpretation (due to lack of clarity on that web site) was: MEI 9.0/9.1 was for Z87, and MEI 9.5 was for Z97.
    So, either:
    a. you're wrong, (by wrongly assuming that the MEI firmware version numbering exactly matches the chipset version numbering).
    or
    b. the station-drivers.com web site is wrong.
Why would there be a new & just released version 9.1 MEI firmware designed for Z97 boards, when there already exists
a version 9.5 MEI firmware (which I'm sure are NOT designed for Z87 boards)?
Ideally, the Intel MEI flash program would not allow updating the MEI firmware to an inappropriate chipset board, no?

Thank you for this post KK!

I just want to check that I understand what you did in the “Mod 13”.

In Mod12 there seems to be some modules with higher version numbers.

    For example:
    - Marvell 88SE91xx Adapter 1.0.1.0025 now is downgraded to 1.0.0.0034
    - Intel GigabitLanX64 6.2.08 now is downgraded to 6.1.16
(This according to the text document included with the downloaded file.)

Did you do this intentional to solve some issues or am I mistaken and mix up the ROM’s?
