Currently using 13.2 on my X79-UD5 with no apparent issues.

    Hi KK,

Thank you for yet another extensive post with important information.

For those of the readers here who might be interested in what people say and think about the version numbers and which of the version really is newer you can read from this post in Fernando’s Win-RAID Forum and the following posts.

The conclusion may be the version 1.0.1.0025 exists (of course) but probably the lower version number v1.0.0.0034 is newer...

For those interested ver. 13.2.0.2134 works on my GA-Z77X-UD5H BIOS F16 board. It even solved a problem where device information was displayed as junk in ver. 13.1.0.2030 and now is displayed properly.

It was not possible to enable “Smartresponse” in the BIOS setup but it started from the Intel IRS tool in Windows. After enabling it in Windows, it was no longer grayed out in the BIOS setup.

I have not tested any RAID setup other than RAID 0.

I don’t see any performance gain and I would not recommend anyone to do the update before there are hard evidence that there are no drawbacks using 13.2 on an older board. I was just curious and wanted to test some of the Intel and Marvell ROMS discussed here lately.

Hello Priskvark! The versioning "seems" downgraded but there are concrete motivations that Softhive have reminded to me/us: GIGABYTE Modified Bios

That's why Gigabyte have included into the latest beta of Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H the V.1.0.0.0034 as indicated by Stasio that have redirected Gigabyte about the issue of the lacking Legacy code of the V.1.0.1.0025.

Thanks again to Softhive for the precious reminder.

    Have a nice week-end!

    Cheers,

    KK

But you must know I have not a computer to verify that it really works! Remember what Post 1 in this thread says:
"Flashing a modified bios is completely at your own risk and assume full responsibility. If you have any issues with your Motherboard and have to RMA it for any reason and have a modified bios flashed it could VOID your warranty."

pic shows 1.6 because I use EIST in the bios.
Just a quick clock so I see its a bit hot but I can tweek with that as I see its very stable.

    Update2 :
