    Thanks much.
    Hello vailr,

Mod 2 is an upgrade of Mod 1 and I choose not to touch anything other than to upgrade to the latest OROMs.

I can do an upgrade and use the Gigabyte F10C as base if you prefer. But I thought I first ask you if you would like to test the final version of F10 or is the beta F10C more stable? I have not followed the development of GA-Z87X-UD5H BIOS so I donít really know which version is the bestÖ

An EX58-EXTREME is causing a problem with reconstructing a RAID5 array. Every time 'rebuild from an alternate disc' is selected it does nothing. Can you supply this with the newest RAID ROM?

    Thanks in advance.

    @ Priskvark:
AFAIK, F10c (beta) is the latest version from Gigabyte:
    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-Z87X-UD5H (rev. 1.x)
Was your description that included "Bigfoot Ethernet Controller" simply a typo in your description, and not actually located anywhere within the bios?
If so: then maybe just further update the CPU microcode to version "6C31C", and that would probably update everything as far as current data allows (except for MEI).

    @ stasio

I know how to check the BIOS version on an installed BIOS on a computer. There are a couple of methods.

But could you point me (and all the readers in this thread) to information about how to take the information from a BIOS file? Or if you could take the time and show us if itís not too complicated. I know that you, as with so much other things, have the expertise!

This question came up when we speculated about if the final version of GA-Z87X-UD5H F10 is older than F10C. (This should not be in doubt. The final is always newer then a beta but in real world for example for GA-Z77X-UD5 Gigabyte released a beta after the final version!)

Itís always fun to learn something new!

Before installing this version, you may consider to rather try the mod from the final version of GA-Z87X-UD5H BIOS F10

    GA-Z87X-UD5H BIOS F10c Mod 3

    Modified with:
    Intel RAID for SATA 13.2.0.2134
    Intel EFI SataDriver 13.2.0.2134
    Marvell 88SE91xx Adapter 1.0.0.0034
    Intel Boot Agent GE 1.5.56
    Intel GigabitLan X64 6.3.27
    Intel GOP driver Haswell 5.0.1037
    Intel PCI Accelerated SVGA 2180
    CPU Microcode 6C3-1A to 6C3-1C
    ME firmware 9.0.30.1482
    Modified splash logo 2

ME Firmware Download and update yourself in Win mode.

@ Priskvark: Sorry, had not noticed that a "final" F10 bios had been released (except: it's not on Gigabyte's official support site).
So: if you or Stasio could offer an updated F10, that would be great.
    Thanks in advance.
