    Thanks Jim,

I see you have quite the collection of Gigabyte Bearlake/Eaglelake boards. Do you know if they support s771 Xeons (ie: an E5472 Harpertown) without issue?

I don't have first hand experience with Xeon 771/775 setups. I helped Luke with his Xeon overclocking with his P35-DS3L and EP45-UD3P systems and stress testing. His biggest hurdle was with significantly higher cpu core temperatures with overclocks up to 4.0GHz. I had a much easier time reaching 4.0GHz with my Q9650/P35-DS4 and Q9550/EP45-UD3P systems.

Two of the best Xeon 771/775 forums are:

A web search using: xeon 775 thread will provide additional information.

Is it possible for Someone to make an updated modified bios for Gigabyte Z87 OC-Force 10?

Since I don't actually run windows on this build, doing it myself is more complicated.

I am trying to debug some driver errors with windows 10 and the Marvell controller.

I was wondering if someone could help me mod a bios for GA-X58A-UD3R rev2.

I notice there is a newer Firmware for the Marvell 9128 version 1.0.1.0025 on the forum also if any newer JMicron RAID ROM and Intel RAID ROM.

I am using Marvell 1.0.0.1038, JMicron 1.07.28 and Intel RST 13x ROM

I know this is getting to be a old motherboard yet its only 3 years old from last gigabyte bios and last of the good boards with out UEFI.

    Thanks
