Sorry for the late reply, I was waiting to see if anyone else would comment. I dont think this mod would be possible us, this might have to be done by gigabyte them selves if its possible. If you wanted to Oroms udpated that should be no problems one of the other modders.

    Hey guys,

Sorry for not uploading that 9182 FW yet...I keep forgetting...but no excuses, I will get it done :)

In the meantime, you need to make a correction to the first post. You posted FW which is listed to be for Marvel 9182, but this is incorrect. These are all for 9128/9123, and NOT 9182. So this section...

    Marvell 9182 Roms
    Marvell_9182_1.0.0.1025
    Marvell_9182_1.0.0.1027
    Marvell_9182_1.0.0.1029
...should be changed to say Marvell 9128/9123 ROMs. You do not want somebody cross-flashing the wrong FW.

It would seem to me that that is a pretty Old Version you are using.
Are you sure it isn't v1.0.0.1025 and NOT 1.0.0.0025 ??
Please post a link so we can look at it.

    Here is version 1.0.0.1029:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55030067/Mar...1.0.0.1029.rar

Version 1.0.0.1027 (27 KB) is here:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55030067/Mar...027%20ORom.rar

And Here's the Version 1.0.0.1025 Orom I have (27.5 KB):
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55030067/Mar...025%20ORom.rar

    EDIT:
As lsdmeasap pointed out your MB has the Newer 9182 Chip so v1.0.0.0025 is new for that chip.
Sorry for the Confusion and Thanks for the Info.

So these are not for the Marvell 9182?

That's correct those are for the Marvell 9123 and 9128 Chips, the 9182 uses a different ORom.

Alright, finally to upload the Marvel 9182 firmware. This is the updated firmware for Marvel 9182 controller (like the one found on GA-X58A-OC board). The version number is 1.0.0.0025 (vs. stock 1.0.0.0017).

    @ christer,
That all depends on the BIOS in Question.
