Is it because of an incompatibility or just because nobody did it ?
And if the latter, is it easy to do ? I know a bit of computer science but I never tried to mod my BIOS, it terrifies me <_<
    Best regards

ps: is it normal that in quick reply mod we don't get to see the security question ?
According to this post it should work fine:

links to the Unmodified BIOS of the last request:

    info
    http://oldforum.gigabyte.de/forumdownload/betabios/betabios2010.htm
    latest changes on both:
    - Solves SMART Command Fail with OCZ Sandforce FW 1.11 and RAID ROM updated to 8.9.1.1002.

I'm also looking for an updated bios for the P35C-DS3R, most important a newer "intel ahci/raid rom".
    - An update to something below 11.5 should be sufficient for my needs, and may be less problematic.
I currently use some modded drivers v11.2.0.1006 that work fine on xp/2003 (32/64 bit):

    - suitable RAID ROM modules can be found here:
    http://www.win-lite.de/wbb/board208-specials/board281-bios-bios-modding/17000-ahci-raid-rom-modules-for-bios-modding-already-extracted

updates for the jmicron controller can be found here:

I know this is out dated - I've been running mod for 6 months now with no issues. Maybe someone else might want this mod.

Using rst 12.0.0.1083 with the matching so called matching orom with different vers lol , modded beta bios g1 assassin2 f12r, write performance is crazy fast, but alas, read performance as took a really bad hit, installing rst 11.7.3.1001 levels the write and read performance out, why cant we have crazy read performance as well as write. Good job by the way Chris, for modding the bios.Oh yes, can someone put the f12r g1 assassin2 mod on the front page, its still f12j.

Yes, tried that, but still rather slow compared to 11.7.3.1001, so I guess ill wait for the next build and give that a try, I need the read performance for loading my games. Oh yes, do you have a link to pax mod for xfi, I get a few bugs where the channels will start hissing when switching from entertainment or others, to a different mode.
