    Default P35C-DS3R not recongizing SSD

Using bios F13d, here, and still not finding my OCZ Agility 3 SSDs, Is there a way to get the bios upgraded to the newest ICH9R .bin. I have even tried the GSATA controller, just a rebranded Jmicron, to no avail. The latest stable bios for the mobo can be located here.

Can you test your SSDs to see if they are recognized on another system?
Have you checked the OCZ SSD forum to see if there are specific ssd firmware fixes for older systems?
What are the specific port names that you are trying to use?

I had no problems installing an Agility2 ssd in AHCI mode as an o/s boot drive in my P35-DS3L system over a year ago.

Updated my signature. Currently on the OCZ forums trying to piece together a solution. They are think a custom bios with newer orom for the ICH9R is needed but I have seen other threads where the F12 bios is working perfectly fine for the agility/vertex 3 drives.

I have removed all other SATA drives from the PC and had the 2 SSDs on SATAII0 and SATAII1 then moved to the GSATA0 and GSATA1 ports.

Could be a DOA SSD, it's what profHim was aiming to, try it in another system.

I will just return them and swap them out at the store. Next set I will have them test them before I leave.

Is there anyway you could do me a huge favor and update the f12 bios from Gigabyte for the P35C-DS3R Rev1.x -link- to the new RAID ROM for the ICH9R? Also a link from the OCZ forums stating that the 8.5 version has been known to solve the problems with SSDs -link-

I have checked for appropriate RAID oroms and they can be sourced from here -link-

I will try this BIOS after work today. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to do this for me. I really appreciate this.

-EDIT- What RAID ROM did you use for this? NVM checked the Patch notes

I'd highly suggest V 10.x ROM, or at least 9.6 as that will work for sure, don't use 8.5 as it's very old. I know it's the oldest one that is suggested for SSD's, but you don't have to use the oldest one just because that is where SSD compatibility starts.

Don't mind my comments if you are going to use a newer ROM, I didn't check the change log or BIOS, so if you are already planning to try one with a ROM newer than 8.5 then you can ignore me

@ Ace, if you need a copy of all my MANY various ROM versions let me know!
