Default Is a cpu halt bsod a stabilty problem for an overclock or a driver problem

Hi, i just ran 3 hours of aida 64 extreme engineer stability test, i had all the test checkboxes ticked, memory, hdds, cpu, fpu, gpu, after 3 hours i got a bsod with cpu halt, i have no info in events or any memory dump, my system is, GA-X58A-UD3R v2, core i7 950 overclocked to 4ghz, 6gb crucial ballistix 1600mhz @1820mhz, memory is stable, and im sure the cpu is stable also, ive been running the overclock for days pc as been on over 24 hours also and havnt had a crash or anything, played games , watched 1080p vids all in the week of the overclock, today i had nothing to do, i fifnshed downloading mass effect 3 and was cleaning up my system, reseting the prefetch and running sfc scannow, and running scan disk, deleting junk , ,so before i started to defrag(not started yet) i decided to run aida 64 for 3 hours, it went past 3 hours with all tests running, before i got chance to stop aida 64 my pc blue screened me with cpu halt, is do i need to raise my cpu voltage or do i have a bad driver? cpu voltage is 1.312v, memory is 1.664v, im sure im stable. Pleas note that both hdds were constantly being thrashed for 3 hours going over and over and over all info on my disk, which is not normal everday usage.

You should be able to see the code in Event Viewer at the boot squence after the crash.

There's nothing, but I have found an entry saying Microsoft oobe failed , is it possible this caused it to crash because of everything in the pc was stressed 100% and that was the only option to halt cpu?, what's your opinion on cpu halt.

Look for bugcheck or kernel-power critical events under windows logs->system

Microsoft oobe failing was a kernel event, so could that be what caused the halt? I been through the whole event viewer and thers nothing related to bsods, I think memory dump is off. If the system resources are all tied up doing other stuff and that kernel event happened the only option would be to cut or halt the cpu wouldn't it?, I ve passed 20 runs of intel burn test on very high ,can't use extreme cause no page file, whats the usuall that makes a cpu halt, does anyone ever get it because of voltage, I'm new to all this.surely if voltage was an issue I would of crashed way before, even days ago.

I'm gonna turn on page file and run 20 passes of IBT on max, if it passes that then I have issues other than stability.

There is no definite answer to this code, try to run Prime95 small FFT for 2-3 hours, then large FFT.

why have you no pagefile? surely this is a cause of crash/lock ups?

and why arnt you setting dram voltage to 1.66v for 1.648v in windows? unless thats what you meant?

id keep around 2500mb pagefile though
