I would update to latest beta BIOS and see if that fixes your problem. Just throwing voltage at the cpu is not going to fix it. Like I said others have had this problem, it was said all testing before the boards were released was done with Ivy Bridge cpu's and they are still working on the BIOS to fix bugs with Sandy Bridge cpu's. Seems to be fixed for the UD5H boards but maybe not yet for D3H? I don't know. If updating to latest beta BIOS does not fix it try contacting Gigabyte and see what they say.

I have exacctly the same problem (z77-d3h + 2500k) I tried every possible settings with voltage.
I found uot, that setting 1,26-1,27 V + LLC on turbo or extreme(@ about 4-4,3GHz) makes computer boot normally (I have dual boot sometimes, and once for a month or two i have troubles with coldboot)
I tried every new BIOS (except F15, but it just came out and it doesnt fix any CPU problem - if we belive in what Gigabyte says)

the only dissadvantage is that when Vcore is not set to NORMAL, the voltage doesn't drop to ~1V at iddle.

did u find any solution?? maybe u know is it problem with mobo, CPU or mobo + CPU? should I send it to Gigabyte?? I'd rather not send it if i'm not sure what is wrong (not having computer for 2-3 weeks will be hard)
