Even when I had the BLCK setting at AUTO, it would still fail at the 12 minute 30 second mark.

you probably needed a little more qpi/vtt than stock, auto usually uses around 103bclk unless you manually set it to 100mhz(sorry that was for the random freezing) for linx you could need a higher level llc or bit more dvid voltage for the cpu or bit more qpi/vtt,you would need to test ect

Here is Intel's voltage recommendations for IB cpu's

Intel’s recommended voltages and my recommended voltages

This link was taken from here Ivy Bridge Overclocking Guide (Extreme LN2 Section Guide Included)

Edit - Wazza edited his post while I was posting this. I posted this as he was talking about qpi/vtt voltage compared to SB cpu's.

I bumped up the QPI/VTT to 1.08v, the VCC/VCORE to 1.3, and the PLL to 1.5 and the LinX still fails around 12 minutes and 24 seconds in.

Anybody else with Ivy Bridge & Z77x-UD5H run LinX test?

    2) Intel i7-3770K cpu
    3) G.Skill Sniper Low Voltage Series, 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3 kit (2 x 4GB) ram

I'm suffering from the same freezing problems:

    -it freezes in the BIOS
    -it freezes on the desktop
-the computer turns off when I do a MemTest, usually within an hour.

At first I thought that the RAM was the problem, so I took it back to the shop for testing. They did a MemTest for 5 hours and said that there was no problems. I also borrowed a single stick of RAM from a friend and still got the same freezing issues. So it's not the RAM.

Anyways, I just flashed the beta BIOS version F8a, loaded Optimal Defaults, and Saved & Rebooted. After doing that I was able to run MemTest for 5 hours without the computer turning off. Also, I have not experienced any freezes on the desktop and in the BIOS so far.

So guys, I think it's a BIOS issue. I'll post back if I experience any freezes today.

UPDATE: Just had a random freeze on the desktop. I'm bringing this board back.. too much of a headache!!!!!!!!!!!!
I returned my UD5H board and exchanged it for a Asus P8Z77-V. Problem solved! No more lockups!

I'm looking to replace the UD5H with a Asus P8Z77-V pro or deluxe - can't make up my mind at the moment but good to hear the Asus boards are OK.

@boondock's and others... When using LinX or IBT to full stress the system you have to use all available memory
