No, mount the fans underneath of the radiator and blow through the radiator and out the top. Usually push is going to give you more than pull. That will also pull air out of the case, as will your rear fan. Then setup whatever other fans you want blowing in and I think it will probably balance out. I don't know if having fan behind cpu helps or not, my 302 case is setup that way and I put a fan there blowing out from the get go, never tested to see if it helps or not and never tried blowing in as the temps have always been good in that case.

Ya, disabling those power savings were near mandatory when OC'ing a 775 socket, but SB is different, you can OC and have your power saving enabled. I'd expect it to be no different with IB.

I never liked blowing warm (used) air through a RAD, I'd expect the temps to be a few degrees hotter than if you were using fresh air.

You had a couple answers to your question on OC.net. Both said exactly opposite things.
I would still mount the fans below the rad and push the hot air out of the case. Else you'll have to worry about cooling more than the cpu. The one guy makes a case for the fan behind the mobo pulling in fresh air. I would try both ways and see what works best for you. All setups are a little different, and certainly different with different case/fan combos.
I have considered putting a fan on the mobo side of my case. I have already enlarged the cpu cutout area to allow for easier cooler mounting. At the worst it won't harm anything and let me practice my dremel skills, at the best maybe it will help a little.

    Thanks Guys, Fun stuff!

It just plain looks like I'll have to run the cooling setup one way a while and keep a log. And then run it another way and compare eh?

Got those itty-bitty RAM sticks today. Heh!I bet when I post pics I'll be asked, "Where's the memory?"

Ran the numbers of the fans. Came up with this.
    And This
I'm getting two different RPMs there.

Fluid bearings? I Hope. The 2nd link says XSPC is the MFG. Hmmm? The fan feels a touch heavier than a Yate Loon I have here. They have the nice black braided wire sleeves and shrink tubing at the terminations. The fan hub opposite the a sticker on it saying 1650.

Followed a link from one of those pages to fan lubrication. I wish I had seen that before. My "1650 rpm" fans that came with the XSPC kit are indeed well made fans, but I couldn't get close to that rpm, more like just under 1600. I've already replaced them with some Yate Loons (not because of rpm) but maybe I'll oil them up someday and recheck rpm and see if it helps. My wife always has plenty of sewing machine oil around.

    Thanks,

Well, Newegg let me order the i7 3770K. I did not get an in stock email. It will most likely be running when I get one. The MoBo and stuff will be here Monday.

@Vinster, Thanks for the clarification on the BIOS settings of Yore. I was all into it back then and backed off until I thought I would need to clock it to keep up with the times. It taint like riding a bicycle, But this Q6600/GA-EP45-UD3P/8GB corsair RAM is still no slouch.

Looking forward to the new Snap.

The static pressure with the included fans on the XSPC kit is pretty good. I decided to go back to them for now, was getting a little LED overkill with both the Loons installed, although they are quieter. That is why having a fan controller is nice, I just turn those puppies down when it's not under heavy load.
