    right now is, x45 vcore=normal (1.255) dvid= -0,030, c1e=enable, ht=enable, LCC=auto
cpuid says on idle (0.98~1.02) on load 1.32 BUT------/ core temp says 1.37 (i dont know who i should trust)

i did rar test, with 4.2ghz vcore auto, dvid disable, everything auto, memory profile1 @ 1600mhz, the result was 4.166
now on this current overclock the result was 6.070

i didn't make a stress test yet but i will do later, but, what you guys think about 1.32v, it is good? safe?

Ignore my last statement as I though you were using a 3rd gen I7, I see you are using the 2nd gen i7 2600k.

Wazza may want to speak about 1.32v ok for 4.5ghz with ht, It might be a little high as that was auto does tend to over volt, which can cause stability problem as well as low voltage.

one last thing, the different reading voltage

    cpuid (version 1.61)=1.32v
    cpuid HWMonitor (version1.20)=1.32
    coretemp (version1.0)=1.37
    aida64(version 2.50)=1.37

Yes each software is gonna have its own discrepancies the only true way to know the voltage is with a digital multi meter(DMM) to read the voltage from the board. Usally Cpu-z will show you the must accurate voltage. I can tell you with my ud3h if you set LLC to turbo and a fixed voltage of 1.29v you will get 1.29v. Cpu-z may say it will drop to 1.28 or 1.27 but in fact it does not according to DMM and this was with a very expensive Fluke 88 DMM.

I would strongly advise not using auto voltage. I also strongly advise that you start with a base figure (stock settings) and play with voltages there and see how low you can adjust them while maintaining stability. Then move to say 3.5ghz, then 4.0ghz then 4.5ghz. At stock settings the value you see to the left of where you adjust vcore this is the cpu's VID for stock speed. So in theory you should be able to run stock speeds at this value either with vcore set to normal or with a fixed value. Most cpu's can actually run at a lower value but not all.

thanks for the tips, i will do some extress tests and if i dont get good temps, i will try reduce dvid

    one dumb question:
what is the right cpu frequency to "marry" with the memory frequency?
like 1600mhz memory i will get good performance with ??? cpu frequency?

because winrar benchs raise 2.000 points from 4.2ghz to 4.5ghz with 1600mhz on memory

a correction: aida64 says 1.32 too and the gigabyte ET6 monitor say 1.32,
    the real should be 1.32v

Just set LLC to turbo and set multi to 45x and set vcore 1.25v and test for stablity. Make sure to keep a close eye on your core temps, keep them under 85c.

You maybe able to use less vcore or you might need more vcore. You will have to test and see what you cpu likes. Screen shots can be found in first post of the thread.

what about the BCLK 100.mhz i used the auto tuning lately my stability test gets up to 5.5ghz stock fan and air-conditioned room

leave bclk to 100.03 unless you want to overclock the bclk. Please dont use the auto tune. All overclocking should be done manually in the bios. And I highly doubt the auto tune clocked the cpu up to 5.5ghz and the temps would be through the roof with stock fan. I have had 2 3770k cpus and the first was better then the one I have now, and with a custom water cooling the best mine could do was 4.8ghz with HT off and temps were around 80-85c.

Thse Ivy bridge cpus run hot you have to monitor core temps. I also have a 3770s cpu which is rated at 65w vs 75w on the 3770k. The 3770s with stock fan will thotal it self while under load from 3.9ghz to 3.7ghz as the cpu is over heating when running LinX. So there is no way a stock fan will keep a 3770k clocked to 5.5ghz unless you live in -100c temp.
