qpi/vtt at 1.35v and iv just left it there but changed the dvid to +0.07500v and have just finished 10 passes intel burn test in standard settings, the led's for the north bridge are under a heatsink lol trust gigabyte to hide them i know some over near the ram are also for north bridge its only the 1 for the cpu im concerned about really, i'll test again with intel burn test on hard setting and post back, thanks so much for the help

they light up due to the extra voltage youve added,1.2625v for cpu is perfectly fine for 4ghz,what are temps like? you can either push for a test on high in intel burn test or try reducing qpi and cpu dvid one or two clicks at a time until its unstable then up it one or two clicks

its upto you now to tweak qpi and cpu dvid voltages, but temps are fine, you could even push for 4.2ghz

haha anytime, post back if you wanna try 4.2ghz though, see how much you can reduce voltages now and temps will be a bit lower also, but anything below 80c on that cpu is fine for 24/7 use

Hi just thought id let you know my settings now after iv done loads of testing

    load line standard
    cpu vcore normal
    DVID +0.09375
QPI/VTT 1.355v ( but this is now in the pink )
    DRAM 1.66V ( and also pink )

    everything else set to auto

these settings seam to be the only combo that will run prim95 for over 2 hours,
i havent tryed going down at all on the DVID as the settings im useing now still only give me 1.008v idle in cpu-z and full load fluctuats between 1.216 and 1.234,
the temps are all around the same if anything maybe my idle temps are around 1 to 2 c lower but could be down to room temps,

3 times over that past week or so i have powerd the system off at night and when powering on again in the morning its all gone back to stock settings even the full screen logo is there and the time and date have changed back to 2009, could this be the cmos battry going ?

could be the battery, could need bit more qpi/vtt idk

1.66 dram is fine even if its in pink ,its only 1.648v in windows,qpi/vtt you can safely use upto 1.4v,but you shouldnt need that much
