I frequently run overnight tests and/or daylong tests.
The only problem with the 27.7 version is that if each worker thread continues running after an error it will take some extra work to find out how quickly the initial error occurred. From past experience, an error that occurs after 3 - 6 hours is more stable than when an error occurs much earlier.

I've often had one worker fail after a certain amount of time and the other worker thread keeps on truckin' error free for quite a long time without errors.
As long as your cpu core temperatures are lower than about 70o (C), there's no problem.
My overclocked dual core systems' Prime95 core temperatures are about 52o (C) when the room temperature is 20o (C).

It sounds like you'll need to read the Prime95 documentation for the newer version, as the output format is different from the 26.6 version.

    **edit**
Do a web search using prime95 and switch to Images and you'll see many Prime95 screen-shot examples.

I deleted all remnants of the previous test, and prime 95, and re installed prime 95, and this is how its running now, with 3 tests down with no errors. There are my temps also.

    Temperatures look good.
Did you make any bios changes between the two Prime95 tests?
    We'll touch base later.

I'm going to install the 27.7 version on my system so that I can determine what options or settings might have changed when running on older systems.

No changes in any bios settings....only the changes you recommended. Not sure why prime was playing up before, but working fine now. I'm gonna up a few things and see how I go, and leave on while at work today.

It sounds like your sytem rebooted, probably due to a BSOD.
Some BSOD information might be available in the windows Event Viewer.
You can download and install Resplendence Software - WhoCrashed, automatic crash dump analyzer freeware and it will list the summary information for the 15 most recent BSOD events.
You can disable automatic restarts from:

Control Panel --> System --> Advanced System Settings --> System Properties --> Advanced tab -->
Start Up and Recovery: Settings --> untick Automatically Restart
Not sure why prime was playing up before, but working fine now.
This is probably due to not having error checking enabled.
I installed and ran Prime95 Blend, v27.7 for 18 hours, 17 minutes with no errors.
Setup and configuration was nearly identical to the 26.6 version, but the worker thread screen output was slightly different.
No changes in any bios settings....only the changes you recommended.
I'm gonna up a few things and see how I go, and leave on while at work today.
Statements like this is one reason I stopped helping in overclocking threads.
Providing incomplete details slows down the trouble shooting process and means that it will take much longer to get your system stable. I don't have the time or patience to go looking through the thread for bits and pieces of information and trying to guestimate your most recent bios settings. To prevent errors and speed things up, always post your most recent complete bios settings from the bios template and include a screen-shot that includes the requested information from step #4 in http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...tml#post295784:

    4) Include a screenshot that displays:
Memset using the SPD and ">>" tabs
cpu-z CPU and Mainboard screens (several instances can be run at the same time)
EasyTune6 --> TUNER tab --> ADVANCE tab --> VOLTAGE tab (only the Voltage tab is needed)
CoreTemp screen [for your cpu's VID (Voltage ID)]

Links for these programs are in the Latest Overclocking Programs, System Info, Benchmarking, & Stability Tools thread.

Looking at the ET6 voltages, it looks like CPU Vcore might still be too low.
MCH Core = 1.26 or 1.28 might be needed, and it's possible that a slightly lower setting might be best.
I can only suggest a range of voltages, as no two systems will require the exact same settings, even with the same hardware.
Your memory voltage should probably be set to the maximum setting that is on the memory's sticker.

You can include multiple images in a single post if you upload your image files to a free file hosting service that lets you copy the picture links where the link is in the format: http:// www PictureLinkSite com/MyPictureName.jpg (or png).
I put my pictures in my DropBox Public folder, where they give you 2GB or more of free file storage.

The general recommendation for Cpu Termination (aka VTT) is that it should be at least 0.05 lower than CPU Vcore.
The link to your Kingston memory results in an error page, please include the model number for your memory.

    Memset v4.1:
The ">>" tab displays all memory channel settings.
The SPD tab displays more detailed memory SPD settings than cpu-Z.
SPD settings are set by the manufacturer and show "guaranteed" settings when your bios settings are stable.
    Tweakers.fr -- MemSet v:4.1/ 2000 / XP / Vista / Seven 32&64 bits

Note: Some Bios and SPD values do not match Memset's reported settings.
    See http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...t-vs-bios.html for more information.

In the attached screen-shot, a few of my memory timings are slightly tighter than the SPD settings.

    Default Re: Q9400 Overclock EP45T DS3R Help

Look at the Results.txt file that is in the Prime95 program folder.
These are the entries that are at the end of my Prime95 Blend test:
    [Thu Aug 16 22:06:49 2012]
    Self-test 288K passed!
    Self-test 288K passed!
    [Thu Aug 16 22:21:50 2012]
    Self-test 2688K passed!
    Self-test 2688K passed!
    [Thu Aug 16 22:37:40 2012]
    Self-test 336K passed!
    Self-test 336K passed!

When a Prime95 worker has an error, the last FFT size for the worker that is listed points to whether the problem is related to a memory or cpu error. In the example above, if there was only one entry for the 288K test that passed, this would indicate that the other worker failed the 288K test. Each 15 minute Blend test loop alternates between large and small FFT sizes.
    • Small FFT errors usually mean that the problem is cpu related,
    • Large FFT errors usually mean that the problem is memory related.

It will be much easier to read your screen-shots if you crop the unneeded portion of the screen and the width of the screen-shot is less than 800 - 1000 pixels. The cropped Memset screen-shot in my previous post is 710 pixels wide.
