    Default Soundcard exact model?

Hello, i've a G1.Assassin 2 and i want to know what's the real name or model of the Sound Blaster..
The Drivers on the Gigabyte's page aren't old, but in Creative's page there are some new beta, from July, and i wanted to test them, but, sadly, none of them worked..

    Any ideas?

Thats the problem.. The Gigabyte's page doesn't say anything about the model..

    Seems that it doesn't exist!

I have the same board and would be interested in finding newer drivers, I am using Windows 8 and the functionality seems limited.
From past experience I expect Creative to have buggy Win 8 drivers out in a couple years and decent ones by 2016.

Guys , hi My first post !
Can help you out here, Yes creative are very slow to update if at all.
However i have been using these 'PAX MASTER PCIe Titanium HD Driver Suite V2.30 Default Tweak Edition'
They are modded Creative drivers - with a good community to support for answers.
Work great on the GA-G1.ASSASSIN 2 X79 Gaming Board !
Link : PAX Download - PCIe X-Fi Series
Remember you need the HD Version.

    thx

    Hey!!! Thank you!!
    I'll try then!!!

I was using the custom Support Pack 2.5, from Creative's forum.. But... This PAX drivers...

Modded, Updated and supported by the community!! This is better than i was looking for!

    Thank you man!!

    EDIT: Not working :/
Volume Panel not working (no compatible device detected)
The PAX pack, is not installing any driver, and if you manualy install it, the device won't work..
