    wow jim, just got into bios with 1 mem stick in slot 2. running it open case with just cpu heatsink fan and the one mem stick. what should i do now?

    It's unlikely, but possible that the new power supply is damaged, even when it delivers power to the motherboard and fans.
    The only way to thoroughly test is to substitute different components; memory, graphics card, psu and possibly cpu.
    You can't automatically assume that all of your hardware is working, especially with the electrical problems during the hurricane.
    One or more of the components might have been damaged.
    Are you using the 8-pin EPS12v psu power cable? 4-pin ATX_12v power cable?

    ok so with either one of the two mem stick i have in slot 2 i am able to get into the bios, however when i insert the second mem stick into slot 1 i run back into the same problem from before. any suggestions, i will be trying them in slots 3 and 4 to see what will happen.

    ok so it wont work in slots 3 and 4 either, however just 1 stick in slot 4 works and gets me into bios. What to do next?

    jim, im really sorry, i did load specs into my profile for you and also had them in a previous post here they are again.

    ok so now tried it with 1 mem stick and graphics card and i can still get to bios, dont know why it wont let me use the other stick. any suggestions?

    so i can boot up win 7 pro but still can run two mem sticks. Anyone know what to do?

    ok so think the problem is the board because it wont post with memory in channel B (code 51) but has no problem posting with memory in channel A. ddr3_1 and ddr3_3 will cause code 51 to come up, however ddr3_2 and ddr3_4 will let me run computer fine.
