    Default Memory voltage ? Z77-UD5

quick question before I start OC'ing new build. On my last build it was recommended to raise the voltage on the memory if using all 4 sticks. Does the same apply to the newer boards? This is what I have now:

    Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5 Rev 1.1 w/ I7-3770K Bios F15t mod.
Themaltake Water 2.0 Extreme Cooler in Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 case
    Gigabyte GTX-660ti OC Windforce
    Corsair Vengeance 4 X 8Gb 1866 9-10-9-27-2T
OCZ Vertex 3 120 (2) Raid 0 on Intel SATA III ports
    Seagate ST1000DM003 7K 64M (2) Raid 0 on Marvell Sata ports

    Thanks

it depends whether its stable at rated voltage or not,sb/ib are much better with high ram speeds and amount due to no overclocking through the bclk, unlike on older x58

1.55v dram voltage is usually the norm but it doesnt hurt to use upto 1.65v if needed

I've got a update as for voltage on my new GA-Z77X-UD5. I let EasyTune do its autotuning just to see what it came up with. It was too aggressive so I figured I'd test the memory with MemTest86+4.2. The blk was at 103.49 so the mem was around 1933 with 10-11-10-27. I had so many errors I started lowering the blk. I'm now 100.6 and set the timing back to 9-10-9-27. While I have not let MemTest run for long I got no errors in the first minute with the voltage @ 1.50 and had over 600 errors when the voltage was @ 1.64. I noticed that I was a little better (around 400 errors in the first minute) when I tried 1.59 that's when I decided to set it at 1.50. So it looks like less is better. I'll test more and report back.
