OK. I am stable at 4.7GHz, and I booted once into 5.0GHz.

Here is 4.7GHz, all stock except Vcore = Normal + 0.222 Volts:

Here is 4.8GHz, all stock except Vcore = Normal + 0.3 Volts:

I'd do them all together, except I am being limited to one attachment per post.

You can include multiple images in a single post by using the Insert Image option and pasting the web address of each picture, one at a time, from a website such as DropBox, or many media/file sharing sites. It's easiest to do this when you use the Go Advanced posting option where you can preview the results one or more times while composing your post.

    Here is 5.0GHz, Vcore = Normal + 0.399 Volts. Vrin = 2.0 Volts. Uncore = 4.5 GHz. A couple of helper Voltages at Normal + 0.1 - 0.2 Volts:

    Canard Link

That has my handle on it. I apologize that it's only 4999.96 MHz. I tried rebooting to catch a better CPU speed, but the rig wouldn't boot the second time. I thought I should not push my luck. So what you see is a CPU just barely stable enough to boot -- once.

BTW -- Gigabyte tech support told me that Intel's Adaptive Voltage is part of Gigabyte's Voltage offset.

Thanks. I'll do that next time.

So far I've been able to run Aida stress test for several hours @ 4.5. When I was trying to run Prime95 12K fft's it would always crash within an hour....so I wonder how stable it really is. Supposedly Aida stress test is more "real world" stable, I don't know....
I may be swapping this board for a replacement anyway, got a few more days left at Newegg before the 30 day limit is up.

Question Re: Haswell Overclocking Guides / Results

It will be interesting to see what Sin0822 and the other experts say about stress testing Haswell systems.
It sounds like there might be a new normal when it comes to which stress tests should or shouldn't be used with Haswell.

Intel is supposedly saying Aida is the preferred test....and I can run it for hours @ 4.5 and not get hotter than 81c which is good.
I know that with Ivy some people that passed >12 hours Prime 95 testing claimed to crash and burn while gaming. All I know is that when I was able to run >12 hours P95 I never had any crashes.
But does it make sense that if you can't pass repeated passes of (insert FFT size here) a Haswell system is not stable? I don't know.
