    Default Help with X.M.P. settings

    Hello all,
I recently purchased a Gigabyte GA-Z77-HD4 motherboard as part of my first built and for the life of me I can't detect the xmp settings in the bios. The manual mention it so it must be there somewhere but I just can't seem to find it. If anyone has any suggestions it will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    -A

That's the strange thing... my old motherboard, an Asus P7H55M-PRO did show the xmp settings in the bios with the same memory.

Many Kingston memory kits are not programmed with XMP settings.
If you post the full model name for your memory, we might be able to find out if it has XMP settings.

99.9% DDR3 1333 kits ,works only under Jedec timing (685 MHz).... no XMP.
