    I will still need your help. I some how messed up my drive so now I am tring to recover. If that doesn't work. I'll reformat and start again. Ugh...

    Try putting in windows dvd,press f12 at splash screen and boot from dvd and do a startup repair

    ok i got the new operating system in win 7. im at the bio screen and ill set it like you said. it still freezes up on win "STARTING WINDOWS" screen. my voltage is set with the profile 1 and it 1600 my dram is 1.56 my qpi/vtt is 1.23 v this time it had a line about the windows start up kinda pink. but still froze.

    Are there other settings that i should change?

    check the sata ports aren't set to ahci mode in the bios,go through each page and look for ahci,if you see it switch back to ide

    idk why its freezing at windows start logo it shouldn't,was it fine with your old memory?

    Ok I'll do that next. I had giving up and just put back my old memory. Everything boots up just fine with the old memory. I'll let you know. Thanks for you help.

    you can also try with 1.35v qpi/vtt and see if that helps

    I am also wondering about the easy tune, smart6 and the other utities they offer. Sould I also uninstall them?

    I think that the hard drive are not seen, ( which I the IDE suggestion makes sense).
    But also wondering if the devices in device manager are correct. USB host controllers and another Controler are in neg IR's. -8,-7,-6,-5,-4,-3,-2 is that normal?

    easytune is ok to use

    not sure on the usb devices,

    seems strange that your old ram works fine yet it freezes at start screen with new ram,did you try 1.35v qpi/vtt?
