    Default Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H/I5 4670K combo need overclocking advices

    Hello! I have an Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H v1.0 motherboard and Intel Core I5 4670K cpu with 8 gb ram DDR3 1600 mhz (1,5v,CL9).
    I tried some overclocking with my system and i get some decent results,i think:
    a) 4 ghz with 1,08 v,turbo auto,multi 40x,everything else auto;
    b) 4,2 ghz with 1,13v,turbo auto,multi 42x,EIST/C States disabled,everything else auto;
    c) 4,5 ghz with 1,25v (possible lower,i didn't tweak enough),turbo auto,multi 45x,EIST/C States disabled,LLC extreme,VRIN Override voltage auto,vcore 1,25,RING volt 1,15v,BCLK & TURBO auto,C states & EIST disabled.
    Everything was very stable at those settings,with low temps,the cpu being cooled by NOCTUA NH-D14 and thermal paste like AC MX4. So,i decided that 4,5 ghz will be JUST for benchmarks and 4,2 ghz will be for daily-use. My system is use for gaming purposes and sometimes for benchmarks. I have an ''oldie but goldie'' Gigabyte GTX 670 OC Windforce 3X (pour le conesseurs!) as my VGA,oc to 1300 mhz GPU/stock volts daily
    I have some questions about daily-usage at 4,2 ghz:
    1) is it enough safe 1,13vcore fixed/manual voltage?
    2) electromigration can occure at 1,13v,despite very good temps? I have like 28-31 C' idle and 50-55 C' games,maximum 60 C' in AIDA64;
    3) if i let C States/EIST enabled,all i get is just poor 800 mhz idle with insane 1,13 v like load tasks,so i went to bios to find some ''adaptive'' settings and i cannot find anything about it... Should i use offset,or is safe to let manual voltage daily-use conform to my settings for 4,2? I heard offset can occure in instability when idle at crazy lower voltages for higher frequencys;
    4) can i maintain the cpu safe at 1,13v manual voltage and 4,2 ghz daily-use for about 3 years from now,because in the end i will upgrade to DDR4 platform?
    5) can an AIO liquid cooler perform better at idle/load for my overclocked cpu than NOCTUA NH-D14? I looking forward for an CORSAIR H110,H100i or NZXT KRAKEN X60,though...
    Thank you very much for your advices!

    I dont think 1.13Vcore will be an issue for 24/7 use most all in one coolers can handle that sort of voltage for haswell. I run mine at 1.4Vcore without any heat issues so far,approx 6 months of use.

    For your idle voltage to be lower, try C6/C7 set to "Enabled". The voltage should drop between .1v - .2v. when the system is inactive.
