Nice one Stasio gotta love Devils Canyon... similar volts to mine at 5.0Ghz though your memory is clocked 400Mhz higher....

Haswell has nice IMC, eh? No problems getting your 2800 RAM to work?

Since we now know these are binned Haswell's with some extra goodies on the pcb I was a little disappointed, but I still plan to get a 4790K in a few weeks. I hope I get one at least as good or better than my 4770K.

No stores here in boondocks of North Florida. I'll probably order from Amazon or Newegg when my check comes in a few weeks.

stasio thats kinda high voltage for 24/7.....
what vin voltage are you using with that vcore @1.430v

    i to have a delided chip, 4790k :p
though unsure what the max safe voltage for vrin and vcore are when on water, as i have 2x360 thick mm rads
going to be setting up the watercooling block on my R9295x2 at the weekend :D she is a gonna fly :)

im guessing though for vrin the max safe voltage for that on water would be 1.220v
and the max on vcore for safe ocing my guess would be 1.350v and even with that vcore for 24/7 its going to burn out the lifecycle of the cpu in no time at all, im not talking about the core im talking about the ic/vrms power circuitry on the chip and degrade it until it is turned into a **** ocer.. or dead. lol

^Working all my stuff whole day...temp didn't go above 68-70C.
    My 4790K is not delided.

All other voltage is displayed with GTL.
Here is some table from Z87 system:

Hehe, how Intel release new CPU's...Tick-Tock.......CPU has no time to degrade.
One more year and Broadwell will be in.

I cant understand why people worry about Vcore so much, as long as temps are fine and volts are reasonable <1.45V then where is the problem? Most of us hardware enthusiasts don't keep current hardware long enough to worry about it. Currently running my 4790K@4.9Ghz 1.37V 24/7 no stability or temperature issues, there's always Intel performance tuning plans available for $25 Really nice overclock Stasio.......

ah screw it currently running my 4790k @1.290v @4.8 going to shoot for 4.9-5.0 with stability at the weekend
hope you guys are right and 1.45v max is fine on vcore :D

stasio i gather being none delided you have not run IBT to test for stability
or encoded anything with avx instructions ??

i think if you did you would cook lol
though mostly i just use 2 stability tests aida32 and ibt.... and the odd realbench and cinebench.

and wow @5.0 and your only using the default 1.8v vrin :D

I've run XTU stability test for 1 hour at 1.37 Vcore @4.9Ghz with the uncore @4.4 1.2V Vrin 1.9 didn't have any temperature issues peaked at 73 degrees C on highest core....all comes down to cooling.
