From what I recall I saw before it is 1.25v on air but I've seen some that go even 1.35v. That's for the Haswell, could be Haswell refresh is different.
By default my board is at 1.15/1.16, if I leave it on auto it goes over 1.2v when I set x40 on the ring but it is perfectly stable with 0.02v offset in BIOS (there is only offset for ring voltage in my board) resulting in 1.176v in HWiNFO

    just found this:
    Standard Maximum
    1.05 volts 1.12 to 1.25 volts
so i got some room to play and get it stable ^^ i'm gonna try some 20mins stresstests and when i feel good i am going for a nightly run. i'll keep you updated with my findings.. (if you wish) :P
    Thx again for your replies!

    Voltages:

Note1: Voltages 3,5, and 7 are offsets and can be changed only if the manual voltage control is set to ?normal?
Note2: Voltages for iGPU overclocking aren?t covered in this guide.
The limits for vRing were covered in the guide. I run mine @ 1.23v so if the recommended safe limit for air was 1.25 I'd be skirting pretty close to the max. I was unstable with 1.2v vRing @ 4Ghz uncore but after a wild goose chase because I was told to try vcore by one of the top overclockers in the world then I finally tried more vRing @1.23v and its stable. I did increase my vcore a little in the meantime, but its vRing which stabilises uncore no question. 1.05v + 0.30v offset is 1.35v and that is the max safe limit not a good place to start from.

Also from above it says that offset is greyed out unless the main setting is set to normal.

I only adjust things in the bios from classic interface which has no slider so I've not encountered problems with a reboot after adjusting the slider.
