Default Z87X-OC Bios Flash Help Please !

I just built my new system with the Z87X-OC board and a 4670k. The board shipped with the F3 Bios and I am attempting to update it to the latest because I know there are many improvements that have been made. When I try to do so from my usb drive using QFlash, I get a message that says

"The current flash utility is outdated. Ask your vendor or visit Gigabyte Website for an updated one !"

I'm not new to flashing a bios, I've done it several times and am always very careful when doing so. That's why I'm here. I don't want to do the wrong thing when fooling around with a BIOS flash. On Gigabyte's site it says this, (Note) Please use the efiflash.exe included in the zip file to update this BIOS My question is this, when and where do I use this .exe file ? In BIOS ? In windows ? How do I go about doing this ? Any help is greatly appreciated.

That makes me pretty uncomfortable. Maybe I'll just flash to F6. I have no internet access at home and I'm carrying home all my drivers and such on a usb drive for now.

edit : yeah looking at that, that's got a daniel disaster written all over it.

Yeah I can download whatever I like now. I'm heading home in a few hours and I have to make sure I have everything I need when I get there. I just have never messed with DOS and that makes me nervous. Maybe if I had a working rig connected to the internet and after a little more reading to make myself comfortable, but for now I'd rather just flash to something newer with a method I've used before for my sanity's sake.

I'll be sure to leave everything at default settings/speeds. Thanks a million man, you're a lifesaver. Should I just go with the newest version ? Any recommendations on which one to use ?
